President’s Welcome Letter

Central Region • 2026–2027 School Year

United Black Student Unions of California (UBSUC)

Dear UBSUC Members, Families, Advisors, School Leaders, and Community Partners,

Welcome to another exciting school year! It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your Central Region President for the United Black Student Unions of California (UBSUC).

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead for our students, advisors, families, and community partners. The United Black Student Unions of California has a proud tradition of empowering students through leadership, academic excellence, cultural awareness, community service, civic engagement, and advocacy. Our mission is to inspire students to become confident leaders who make a positive impact in their schools, communities, and beyond.

UBSUC believes every student deserves the opportunity to lead, achieve, and succeed. Through conferences, leadership training, service projects, cultural celebrations, college and career readiness programs, and community partnerships, we help prepare students to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Our theme this year is:

“Building Leaders • Strengthening Communities • Inspiring Excellence”

I encourage every student to become involved, attend our events, volunteer, and take advantage of the many opportunities available through the United Black Student Unions of California. Together, we will continue building a strong network of student leaders throughout California’s Central Region.
